While this is a great general guide to cemetery events, please remember to check the how to and faq for the specific event you are attending. Sometimes details may change
If I buy a ticket online will I be guaranteed admission?
Yes! They only cost $1 extra. You can choose to either print your ticket at home or download a barcode to your smartphone to be scanned at the gate for your admission.
Are you using scanners for the tickets?
Yes. We will be using electronic bar code scanners for your tickets – have them out and bar code ready for scanning. One ticket is good for one scan. It will not work on other scanners after being scanned.
Can I just show my ticket at the gate on my mobile device instead of printing it out?
Yes. Be sure to turn the brightness level on your phone or device all the way up and have your barcodes loaded before you get to the front of the line.
I am bringing a group/planning a party.
Cinespia does not offer group discounts at this time. If you are purchasing all of the tickets for your guests at once, we advise bringing a printed list of names of guests in your party to Will Call on the day of the event. Please have your order number and ID ready. Having your guests check in at Will Call instead of distributing the tickets yourself will eliminate duplicate tickets and confusion.
If I buy a parking pass, is my car guaranteed a parking spot on the cemetery grounds?
Yes. Your vehicle is guaranteed a spot onsite with the purchase of a parking pass. Everyone in the car must have a ticket if the screening is sold out. Anyone without a ticket in the car when the screening is sold out will not be admitted. Parking Passes ($15) are available online with every ticket purchasing page. Additional parking is right around the corner at the Paramount parking structure 801 N. Gower. It's $8.
What kind of vehicles require a parking pass to park onsite?
Cars and SUVS. Motorcycles, bicycles and handicapped can park onsite for free. THE PARKING PASS IS NOT VALID FOR BUSES.
Is there additional parking nearby?
Yes! There is a very large and secure parking lot at 801 North Gower Street at Paramount. When you park in this lot you will still walk through the main gate on Santa Monica to enter the cemetery. However, after the screening you may exit through the Gower Street cemetery gate at the South West corner of the cemetery just north of the Paramount parking lot. Additionally there are a few smaller lots that open near the cemetery entrance that can accommodate a limited number of cars.
Can we park in the neighborhood?
We are asking our patrons to carpool and to please park either onsite, at Paramount or another nearby lot. When you park on the streets in the local neighborhood the resulting lack of any parking for the residents and ensuing noise from patrons walking to and from their cars has created problems with the LAPD and neighborhood councils that threatens the future of our screenings at Hollywood Forever.
