As I prepare to purify myself in the waters of lake Minnetonka aka watching #PurpleRain at #Hollywoodforever #cinespia I can’t help but reminisce about my mom. She’s resting there and I haven’t visited her in 6-7 years. Never had the courage to go visit. Mourning is a complex mother fucker. Instead of being sad I try to remember how bad ass and funny she was. I found these pics of her (in the blue and black and white stripe bottom right) stuntin with her band. I believe they did #Prince and #SheilaE covers. Such a #rockstar. Sure it’s gonna be a bit tough being there at first but I couldn’t imagine a better time to go. I’ll with some great people Turnin up for my mom.
