When LA-based drummer Derek James isn’t off touring with his group The Entrance Band, he’s one of the best DJ’s in town – thanks to his expansive record collection and eclectic musical taste. His love of 60’s soul and R&B is almost always prevelant when he’s behind the turntables, though it’s not unlikely to hear a blend of styles and sounds from all of the great musical eras throughout his ecstatic-yet-vibey sets.
